Spaarnepoort consists of three residential towers along the Schipholweg, which will rise at this location after outdated office buildings are demolished. The residential towers, to be completed in 2028, are part of a more extensive neighbourhood transformation into an urban residential area. The area, located on the access road to Haarlem and near the Spaarne River, will be easily accessible due to the construction of a large public transport hub.


More than half of the housing in Spaarnepoort is reserved for first-time tenants, all 387 of which will be let as social housing. The remainder, 238 apartments, are intended for middle rate rentals. Shared spaces and 221 underground parking lots are available for residents. In addition, the complex offers various public facilities, such as a cinema and a gym, as well as commercial spaces (about 3,000 m²) in the plinth for organizations focused on sports and health.
