Along the banks of the Maas River, a stone's throw from the iconic Erasmus Bridge, a challenging housing development program was erected between 2015 and 2020. Some 12,000 m² of outdated office space is demolished to make way for amply 40,000 m² of residential development. Across two towers, the tallest of which has thirty-one floors, 342 free sector rental apartments, ranging in size from 50 to 160 m², were realised. All apartments feature a terrace or loggia.
Due to the inventive design of the residential towers, two slender stepped towers instead of one wide one, the apartments behind the towers also have a view of the Maas River. The ingenious design also created more space for corner apartments that afford residents stunning views of the wide surroundings and the already-mentioned Erasmus Bridge. The plinth of the building offers space for commercial enterprises.
